Outdoor woodfired Sauna and cold water immersion nestled on our family farm in the Worcestershire countryside.
Cold exposure stimulates the release of norepinephrine, a hormone and neurotransmitter that can increase alertness, focus, and overall energy throughout the day.
Dipping your body temperature briefly before bed helps trigger the natural cooling process that prepares you for deep, restorative sleep.
Regular cold plunges have been shown to increase white blood cell count, strengthening your body’s defenses against colds, flu, and other infections.
The shock of cold water causes your blood vessels to constrict and then dilate when you warm back up—this “vascular workout” can improve circulation and lower blood pressure over time.
Cold exposure triggers a flood of mood-boosting neurotransmitters and endorphins, helping to calm the mind, lower cortisol levels, and promote a sense of well-being.
The combination of adrenaline and endorphins released during a cold plunge can leave you feeling energized, positive, and more resilient to everyday stressors.
The anti-inflammatory effects of cold water help reduce muscle soreness and joint pain, making it a favorite recovery tool for athletes and anyone with stiff or overworked muscles.
Exposure to cold can activate brown fat in your body, increasing calorie burn as your system works to maintain core temperature—even after you’ve warmed up again.
Regular sauna use can lower blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular risk.
Endorphin release and cold‑induced dopamine deliver mental clarity and stress relief.
Heat and cold work together to ease post‑workout soreness.

A Sauna + Cold Plunge session (contrast therapy) combines exposing yourself to extreme heat and cold. We recomend 15 minutes in our wood‑fired sauna with a 30 sec–3 min dip in our cold plunge. Alternating heat and cold boosts circulation, eases muscle soreness and sharpens mental focus.
Every session is 50 minutes in total. That includes your sauna time, cold plunge and hydration break.
We recommend 2–3 rounds of hot sauna followed by cold plunge, pausing to hydrate between each cycle. Listen to your body—if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable, rest. If you’re new to contrast therapy, start small and build up.
Optional extras: warm hat/beanie, dry bag, insulated mug with herbal tea.
